ABU DHABI — Tamam Polo Team claimed the title of the prestigious Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup 2025 after a thrilling final held at the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club. The tournament was organised under the patronage of Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the club.
In a closely contested match, Tamam Polo edged past Bin Drai Polo Team with a narrow 9.5–9 victory, securing the championship after an intense and high-quality display of polo.
The competition concluded with Tamam Polo finishing in first place, followed by Bin Drai Polo Team in second. Abu Dhabi Polo Team secured third position, while the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club team placed fourth.
The awards ceremony was held at the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Field and was attended by a number of sheikhs, dignitaries, and senior officials. The trophies were presented by Sheikh Sultan Bin Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the presence of several distinguished guests, including Sheikh Zayed Bin Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and a number of members of the royal families and prominent personalities.
Among the officials present were representatives of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, senior management of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, and key figures from the UAE polo community.
As part of the closing ceremony, commemorative shields were exchanged between the Arab Photographers Union and Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, highlighting the importance of media collaboration in documenting major sporting events.
The tournament concluded in a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere, reflecting the strong organisation, competitive spirit, and enthusiastic fan support that accompanied the event throughout its duration.
