Habtoor Polo team beat Bin Drai to emerge winners at AHPC League

Habtoor Polo team defeated Bin Drai to win the AHPC League crown at the Al Habtoor Polo Club grounds in Dubai.

The AHPC League was a weeklong tournament and featured exciting clashes between four teams – AM Polo, Bin Drai Polo, El Basha Polo and Habtoor Polo.

Justo Cuitino of Habtoor Polo opened the final match of the day, as his team carved a two goal lead in the first chukker.

The Habtoor Polo kept a strong hold until halftime, with 6 goals to 0 against Bin Drai Polo. The red-shirted players delivered two more goals in the penultimate chukker to establish a significant lead for Habtoor Polo against Bin Drai, which was enough to take home the trophy as the League’s champion after the game ended at 8 goals to 5.

Earlier, the subsidiary final of the league had seen AM Polo taking the lead in the first chukker with 3 goals to 1 of El Basha Polo.

The AM Polo team dominated the first half of the game, ending it with 4 goals to 3 by halftime. El Basha scored 2 more goals by the end of the match but it was AM Polo who maintained their lead with three goals and sealed the win until the final buzzer at 8 goals against 5.
